Student Dress Code and Uniform Policy*

The Uniform Policy is for all students who attend Renaissance Academy to include:

High School Day Program, Middle School Program, ISAEP, SAIP, and Young Parents Program.

All students must enter the building abiding by the following dress requirements of the Renaissance Academy.

Dress/Uniform Policy:

Khaki Pants – Pants must be khaki/tan.  No denim or corduroy allowed and cannot have patches, designs or other decorative items/logos. Pants must be worn at the waist level.  Pants may be purchased at the school store.

Renaissance Academy Golf Shirts – Undershirts/turtlenecks may be worn under the polo shirt for warmth but must be PLAIN black, gray or white colors, no designs/decals/logos.  Shirts are available for purchase at the school store.

Belt – Must be plain/solid black, brown or white.  No other colors on belts are permitted.  Buckles must be regular size buckles that come with the belt, no decorative designs are permitted.

Shoes – tennis shoes/sneakers must be plain black, brown or white.  No other colors permitted.  Shoe laces can only be black, brown, or white.  No boots (including Timberland) are permitted.  Slippers, flip-flops nor open toed shoes are permitted.

Jewelry – Small silver or gold earrings, no larger than a quarter, are permitted.  No colored earrings are permitted.  Necklaces, bracelets and wristbands are not permitted.  Watches may be worn (black, brown, white, silver or gold).  Gloves are not permitted.  All external garments including coats, jackets, hats and sweatshirts must be placed in lockers upon arrival to school and retrieved at dismissal time. These items are not permitted to be transported at any time during the school day.

The Dress Code for Level 1 and Level 2 students will be communicated separately.
